Lake Jasna – Kranjska Gora

Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains Razor and Prisojnik, crystal clear lake, the famous bronze statue of an ibex, and ducks swimming happily on the lake … this is Jasna, an artificially formed double lake at the confluence of the Velika and Mala Pišnica streams.

Some activities at the lake

Cool off in ice-cold water in summer, rent a soup/paddleboard or enjoy an ice cream. In winter, admire the views with hot tea in hand. You can also fish in the lake. Only fly fishing is allowed.

Location and the path to the lake

There are two parking lots along the lake, and both are chargeable.

However, you can walk to Jasna from the Jacobs Resort. About 50 minutes of easy walking along the path connects Podkoren with Krajska Gora. From Kranjska Gora onwards, the fastest is along the main road leading to Vršič. But a much more excellent way leads along the left or right side of the river Pišnica.
